Jesus receiving meeting and baptism

Last Sunday Ms. Mei has received Jesus Christ as her savior. Hallelujah! Ms. Mei is mother of sister Kiki and came back to US in early June. She has a great background in her career as a business woman and leader. She is ellegant, smart and very kind, passionate in learning English, and a talented instructor in teaching Chinese language. She's been a non-believer for her life. But, since sister Kiki has been baptized last April, her mother also became interested in Christianity. As soon as she arrived in US, she joined us in our house church meeting and Sunday worship service for five weeks without a break. From the beginning, she overjoyed to meet us and fully appreciated everything we do in house church. She also showed so much love for her grandchildren and for our house church members, which added more warm and loving atmosphere to our gatherings all the time. As we learned that she wanted to know about God and become a Christian, we bought a Enligh-Chinese bible to her. When she received it, she started reading the very first page of the bible on her sitting. After she had a preliminary meeting with elder Jeong and sister Joyner a week ago, she seemed to pretty much make her mind up. She finally had Jesus-receiving meeting with the two yesterday, listened to the Gospel, and received Jesus as her savior. Glory to God who has been working in her and opened her spiritual eyes. She said her husband already was getting to know God through his own Christian friend and wanted to come to US to meet us. We are witnessing that the word of God, "Belive in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." (Act16:31) comes true in Kiki's family. We're so hopeful that God will continue to work on Ms. Mei to use her as His righteous instrument to spread the Gospel to more people in China and around the world.
