LSF fall retreat

Last week, we finally had a wonderful praise and worship time during our LSF fall retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday. There was a lot of effort in practicing the praise songs with the team - from over 20 songs down to 16. As it was my first time performing on stage, there was a lot of pressure to find time for individuals to practice. Even though I was sure that this was what God had initiated, I felt down and doubtful from time to time. Thankfully, a few people said yes to my invitation to join the praise team and tried their best to make it happen. When one member suddenly fell very ill, there was nothing we could do but pray. By God’s grace, he recovered pretty fast and was able to work with us in time. I really appreciate their passion and talent in this great work. Every step wouldn't have been moved without God’s grace.

We also had great food supplied by Abigail’s family, and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks to their full support, we experienced a warm and relaxing atmosphere before starting the praise.

I’ve been praying for the retreat since the end of October, and it has occupied most of my mind and heart throughout November. Because there were many other events going on in parallel, I had to laser-focus on every single detail according to the timeline. I even changed the login password to my work computer with this retreat's name. Most importantly, I prayed that God would be glorified through the retreat, and all the attendees would experience a spiritual touch and blessings.

Glory to God! We all praise our God because He really poured out His grace on us.
